i love repurposing things i already have for an upcoming holiday
you already saw these red velveteen ribbon cones
but i decided to get a little bit more sweet for valentines day
what you need are:
hot glue gun and glue of course
3 styrofoam cones of whatever sizes you want
lots of Sweetheart conversation hearts- i got one bag of the large hearts and one of the regular mini size
tissue paper of whatever color you want
tape or pins
scissors
1. first you wrap the tissue paper around the cones and secure them in place with a pin or tape
don't worry if they are a bit off- just cut the off edges of the tissue with scissors
2. then start gluing the candy hearts in any pattern you desire- i didnt really have a plan i just went for it
3. add a little tuft of tissue at the top to give a little blossom to the cone
and we are done!
